0 God, the strength of all who put their trust in you: Mercifully accept our prayers; and because in our weakness we can do nothing good without you, give us the help of your grace, that in keeping your commandments we may please you both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Please turn to face the Gospel Book as the Gospel is being proclaimed.
The Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are accounts of the time when God came among us in the person of Jesus Christ.
We read the Gospel in the middle of the congregation as a reminder that God came to earth, lived and taught in the midst of his people

Jesus Christ my Saviour blest Thoughts and words and heart be Thine)

The Celebration of the Holy Communion
Dear Friends in Christ: This is the table where God intends us to be nourished. It is the table where Christ himself, blessed and broken, is given to us; where we receive the resurrected life of Christ, the Divine life of God, into our own lives.
But, even more importantly, this is the altar where we come, not just to receive but to do the chief work of the Church. Through the symbols of bread and wine, this is where we mystically offer ourselves,, our intentions for others, and the world itself to the God of all creation for healing and reconciliation. Through our gift of money, we make an offering that is both practical and symbolic of our conversion from ownership to stewardship of our material blessings.
Element Bearers
(sometimes called oblation bearers) offer the bread and the wine at the presentation of the gifts on behalf of the congregation . The Bearers present the offering to the priest, who then prepares the altar for communion. Please volunteer for this ministry

Let us pray:
Loving God, you created all the people of the world and you know each of us by name. We thank you for these persons here present and for all others who this week, are calling upon your name. Bless those who are celebrating their birthdays and wedding anniversaries with your love and friendship. Let all those who are travelling be under the guidance of your holy angels that they may safely reach their journey's end and return to offer you their thanksgiving. In your loving mercy behold, visit and relieve your sick servants for whom our prayers are desired. In your good time, restore them to health, that they may give thanks to you in your church; for you are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to you we give glory Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
The Choral Blessing:
Go now in peace. Never be afraid. God will go with you each hour of ev’ry day. Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true. Know he will guide you in all you do. Go now in love, and show you believe. Reach out to others so all the world can see. God will be there watching from above. Go now in peace, in faith, and in love. Amen.
